What a change in the weather! We were lucky to have had the warmest day of the year so far for our forest adventures. In the Chinese year of the snake, the children enjoyed looking for 'slithery snakes' camouflaged in the foliage. We discussed how difficult it was to find them due to their brown and green colours. Paige then used different coloured wool to wrap her stick whilst Grace and Ciara used their wool and sticks as fishing rods. Evie made a lovely swing for the birds and Jaime made a wool and stick catapult. Dylan and Iestyn built a fire with sticks and leaves and Jasmine and Scarlet made up lovely dances with twirling 'wool' ribbons. We had a wonderful afternoon in glorious sunshine.
