Beech Group: This week we were blessed with a lovely sunny morning and did not need to wear our waterproofs but we did discover that long sleeves are still important as they protect our arms from scratches in the woods.  Several children spent time lifting up logs and looking for worms underneath whilst a group chose to draw and then made a natural picture on the floor using sticks and other things they could find.  Den building continued to be a popular activity too.

Oak group: Another lovely afternoon in the sunshine. The worm hotel has now  an extension, a hospital. The children explored different ways, dancing, singing and water to bring the worms to the surface. The most successful was a spade!! Some fantastic dens are in the process of being built and we look forward to finishing these week. We also discussed whether the climbing tree has got smaller or have the children got bigger!!

A reminder that children must wear long sleeves and long trousers to attend Forest School.
