Birch group spent a glorious morning at Basildon Park. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. We set out on a woodland walk to look for wild flowers and things of interest. We photographed them and tried to identify them. We found woodland ferns, bluebells, cow parsley, dandelions and buttercups.

After our snack back at the base, we did some independent learning. Tree climbing, balancing and looking for minibeasts on rotting tree trunks were popular! Reid's mum joined us to take some photographs of us having fun.
