It stayed dry this week which pleased the children because it meant they could climb the fallen tree. Sergio and Milo continued to add to the den to make it in to a hideout. Jessica and Abi did a little bit of bird watching with the binoculars. Daisy, Elliott and Firhan hunted for minibeasts amongst the logs. They found tiny millipedes and snails.

Alfie threaded leaves onto a stick. We finished the session by collected things we found on the woodland floor. This included different shaped leaves that were changing colour, conkers, their shells and beech nuts.

If your child has waterproofs at home, could you please bring them in on Woodland School days please. Our spares are running very low, in particular trousers. Thank you.
Mrs Herbert
