Uniform ordering
Our main uniform supplier is Tilehurst Schoolwear. For the time being, uniform purchases can only be made online. If you would like to check sizing please pop into their shop located at 20 Hildens Drive, Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire, RG31 5HU. Their opening hours are 10am - 5pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am - 2pm on Saturdays (closed Sunday and Monday).

The white polo tops, shirts and blouses, grey trousers, skirts, pinafores and summer dresses are readily available from many retailers.
The uniform for Purley Primary School is:
- Purple sweatshirt with a round neck and school logo or purple cardigan with a school logo
- White polo shirts for the Infants (Foundation to Year 2). White shirts/blouses for the Juniors (Year 3 upwards)
- It is not be a requirement to have polo shirts, shirts or blouses with a logo on
- Grey trousers or shorts
- Grey skirts, trousers, shorts or pinafore
- Purple gingham summer dresses
- Grey tights ,white socks or grey socks are acceptable
- For P.E: house colour t-shirt, black shorts and black jogging bottoms, black pumps and/or trainers
- Generic items (such as trousers, skirts, etc.) can be purchased from any retailer
- We also have a sizeable supply of pre-loved clothes which are available for sale via regular FOPS second hand uniform sales. Please speak to Mrs Street in the office if you wish to purchase a uniform item from FOPS.
- School shoes should be black as they are easily available for both boys and girls. For health and safety reasons, these should fit securely and have a low heel. Trainers, open toe sandals or boots will not be allowed.
- Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back.
- Only stud earrings are permitted and they should be removed for PE lessons.
